The new EPR will provide better joined up care by:

·         Enable staff to work more efficiently with instant and secure access to a complete record of patient data, releasing time to spend on patient care. Test results, medical history, medications and more can all be found in one place, rather than several systems.

·         Avoid duplication of patient records, with a robust audit trail.

·         Single sign onto one platform that can allow teams to review patient information, with greater visibility and improving user experience.

·         Teams will have up to date real time information, which will give greater visibility allowing management of the flow through the hospital more efficiently resulting in more timely discharges  

·         Moving to Oracle Health’s model content will offer recurring upgrades and developments, ensuring continuous improvement, and longer term financial savings.
